Last Bet is a suspense-driven short film exploring the consequences of risk and the pressure that comes with having everything on the line. The story builds around a critical decision, using tension and uncertainty to keep the audience engaged as events unfold.

The project presented an opportunity to explore suspense through visual storytelling and pacing. The rhythm of the film plays an important role in controlling what the audience sees, when they see it, and how much information they receive at each moment.

My contribution focused on shaping the story through the filmmaking and post-production process, with attention to pacing, continuity, performance, sound, and the overall emotional progression of the film.

The final piece aims to create a sense of anticipation and gradually build tension toward its conclusion. Last Bet demonstrates an approach to filmmaking where editing and visual storytelling work together to control audience emotion and strengthen the impact of the story.
