My obsession with cinema began with scale. Watching the heroic, sprawling universes of Marvel and DC, I became captivated by how visual effects, seamless CGI, and grand-scale editing could build worlds entirely from imagination. However, as my own cinematic voice evolved, I found myself drawn to a different kind of spectacle, the internal architecture of the human mind. Influenced heavily by the filmmaking philosophy of Christopher Nolan, I view the camera not just as a recording device, but as an active participant in a psychological puzzle. My work in the psychological thriller genre focuses on subjective reality, memory distortion, and high-stakes tension. Visually, my philosophy centers on deliberate, motivated camera movements, high-contrast cinematography, and cross-cutting editing techniques that manipulate time and perception. Whether I am directing a narrative short like Silenced or structuring the fast-paced puzzle of a trailer for Shiku or Soila, my goal is to drop the audience directly into the character's subconscious. For me, filmmaking is a continuous experiment in how deeply we can immerse an audience through the precise manipulation of sight and sound.
