THE PROJECT
Choices is a character-driven short film built around the idea that every decision carries a consequence. Through its characters and their circumstances, the film explores the uncertainty, pressure, and emotional weight that can accompany difficult choices.
The project challenged the filmmaking team to communicate the story not only through dialogue, but also through performance, framing, pacing, silence, and visual atmosphere. Each element was used to help the audience understand the characters and become invested in the decisions unfolding on screen.
My work on the project involved shaping the visual narrative and contributing to the film's post-production process. The edit was approached with an emphasis on story clarity, emotional pacing, continuity, and rhythm, ensuring that each scene contributed meaningfully to the overall narrative.
Choices became an exploration of how filmmaking can turn an everyday human experience into a compelling visual story—using character, emotion, and cinematic language to leave the audience reflecting on the decisions they make themselves.
